Overworld Skill Checklist

Use this skill checklist as a living worksheet. Copy it into notes and tick items in order. Depth lives in linked guides; this page keeps you honest about unfinished basics.

Foundation ticks

Gathering & crafting ticks

  • Mined copper, tin, and coal
  • Smelted first bars at a furnace
  • Forged first upgrade at an anvil (Mining and Smithing)
  • Completed a focused lumber session (Lumbering)
  • Completed a fishing block (Fishing)
  • Upgraded toward iron picks (Iron Picks)
  • Banked a rare material instead of vendoring it

Weekly review prompts

What skill rose the most? What resource bottlenecked you? Which checklist row stayed empty twice? Route fixes live in Early Game Route.

Sibling tools: Early Game Route, Gold Farming Planner. Hub: Tools Hub.

Customizing the list

Add personal rows: “first iron ore,” “first spellbook equipped,” “first mount purchase.” Delete rows that do not match your build so the list stays short enough to finish.

Review cadence

Sunday reviews work well. Note which rows moved, which stalled, and which depended on friends. Schedule a party block if PvE rows stagnate.

Linking keys to readiness

Crypt keys in your bag do not equal readiness. Tick preparation rows—consumables, roles, armor—before spending keys on doomed entries.

Field notes from Early Access

Convert empty boxes into calendar events. If “party pull” is unticked, schedule a two-hour raid block with friends rather than hoping a pickup group appears. If “mount priced” is unticked, open the gold planner immediately. Checklists without calendar hooks become decorative. Make them operational.

Closing checklist for tools/skill-checklist

Before you log off, write one sentence about what this page changed in your plan, one resource you will buy or craft next, and one friend you might invite. Then open a complementary link from the Related guides section and schedule a twenty-minute follow-up. That tiny paper trail keeps Overworld progress visible across busy weeks and patchy Early Access calendars.

Practical addendum

Add negative checkboxes too: “did not rage vendor a rare,” “did not enter PvP with boss gear,” “did not skip banking.” Negative checks prevent silent leaks in progress. Review them with the same seriousness as positive skill ticks. Avoided mistakes are XP you do not see but still earn.

Agility and boss rows

Add a personal tick for one Agility course and one Abyssal Demon attempt only after Goblin King feels routine. Sequencing keeps the checklist honest instead of aspirational wallpaper.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Overworld players.

Do I need every box ticked?

No. Prioritize foundation, then the combat and crafting rows that match your build.

Why mention crypt keys here?

Keys are a PvE progression item many players forget to learn early—watch the video, then tick the row.

How often should I revisit the list?

At the end of each play session or after every patch.

Any final tip specific to skill checklist?

Yes—revisit this page after your next session, adjust one habit only, and combine it with a complementary link from the Related guides module so the lesson sticks in Overworld’s Early Access environment.
